Carntyne Church Refurbishment, Glasgow. Page Park

Carntyne Church refurbishment, Page Park & John Gilbert Architects

The Refurbishment of Carntyne church into level access flats and a new build block, led by Page and Park architects with John Gilbert Architects as passive House designers has provided new homes for local people over 55 who benefit from reduced fuel bills and reduced carbon footprints. Set within a dense tenement lined street, in Shettleston, Glasgow, the project is the first flatted development to be built to Passive House standards offering a high level of insulation and airtightness, hence minimising heating requirements.
