I’m delighted to have some artwork prints on display in an exhibition at the New Glasgow Society curated by Kirsty Strang and Johnnie Wales that celebrates the place of the tenement in the past, present and future of the city. I’ve photographed tenements many times, lived in their rooms and walked their streets, and their character is so influential on the making of Glasgow as a city, that it’s great to be involved in an event which celebrates them and explores their future. My work is on display amongst a collection of models, drawings and collages by the likes of Dress for the weather Architects and Marion Gardyne and others (see link above) . The event runs to the 20th September and there will be films, readings and talks on Friday 18th coinciding with the Doors Open Day city wide program.
