Event Photography – Party hosted by Scottish Women in Property, Glasgow

Quite often I get asked to do photography jobs which are slightly outside of my comfort zone. I admit to usually liking to work where I can take time over shots, perhaps using a tripod and waiting until the lighting and events happening through the viewfinder come together to make the shot…hence the nature of architectural and urban landscape photography…Event Photography however, like street photography and music photography, is all about that fleeting moment, a glance, expression or gesture, so i was happy to come away with these portraits amongst the shots i took on the night. Thanks to Jane Meneely and the WIP team for organising a great night and inviting me to have a stall launching my architectural photography business at the event.
