New Website coming soon
So work is underway at the start of 2025 to refresh my web presence here. It was back in 2010 that i set up this site, so 15 years is pretty good for both the duration of this site and to still be in business as a photographer doing what i love, building new connections and working relationships, with adventures in the built environment that result in images that work well for my clients, capturing architecture and environments in good light and compositions.
I was working at Hypostyle Architects at the time i started up this site and beginning to take on commissions to photograph architecture. This quickly grew into the basis of my business, with me initially continuing working part time in architecture and balancing this with photography until i decided i would go for it with the photography full time in 2012, and over the last 15 years i have built up a growing list of clients and been fortunate to keep new work coming in. Of course setting up and running a business through pandemics and hard economic times has been immeasurably testing at times, not least juggling the unpredictability of the Scottish climate and ups and downs of freelance life with the responsibilities, joys and pressures that come with a growing family. A lot of hardwork, persistence and all the lovely projects got us to where we are. Thanks to all my clients and friends for their support and look forward to working with Web is Beautiful and GreenNet to get the new site off the ground with some new projects, updates and collaborations.
