Hurd Rolland Architects. Castles and Domestic architecture in Fife

It was good to be working with Hurd Rolland Architects again photographing a few projects in Fife, Burntisland, Elie and St Andrews. I’ve posted a few pictures here starting with a new build house overlooking the sea at Elie, and repairing the fabric of a street within the historic town. The interior shots hopefully capture the amount of light that pours into both the circulation, private and open plan parts of the house, throughout the day. I even managed to include a random dog walker into one of the external shots.

Further up the coast from Elie, was this extension to an impressive house in St Andrews, where a contemporary sunroom and living space has been added on the property, and which definitely photographed well at dusk!

Lastly here are a few images from Rossend Castle in Burntisland where Hurd Rolland have their offices and have restored the building.
